The ideal candidate will be a self-managed and driven sourcing strategist with a strong background in global supplier management, particularly in the semiconductor industry. They will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies that align with engineering teams to support the development of cutting-edge technologies while achieving cost reduction goals. In this role, the Sr. Global Commodity Manager will collaborate with various business functions, including technical operations, engineering, and program teams, to define product requirements for new product introduction programs. They will also develop efficient mechanisms for communicating forecast and capacity requirements for sustaining and new products, monitor supplier performance, and address any supply or quality issues that arise. The candidate will be tasked with aligning supplier strategies with Robotics objectives, maintaining monthly supplier scorecards, and conducting quarterly executive business reviews. The position requires periodic travel to suppliers' domestic and international manufacturing sites, approximately 25% of the time.
