The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for leading and supporting the daily operations of a team within Associate Connect. They will serve as a consultative partner within Associate Connect in areas of Associate Relations, HR programs and services, and resolving people and HR issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources function.
• Experience working in a retail environment a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lead through change and navigate the fast pace demands of a retail environment.
• Expert in handling associate relations, performance management, case management, and other people strategies.
• Knowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulation.
• Ability to handle and lead high volume HR teams across multiple business units, buildings and geographic markets.
• Proficient and up to date in current HR technology, systems and analytics.
• Excellent strategic thinking and decision making skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deescalate highly emotional situations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of a human resources strategy and services that corresponds with the company's goals to strengthen and sustain the company.
• Uphold Bath and Body Works values and standards of conduct by leading and resolving high volume, advanced HR matters including associate inquiries and concerns, emergency & crisis support, conflict resolution, AP dispositions, and HR investigations.
• Provide advice and counsel to associates and people leaders on associate relations, absence management and performance management.
• Identify and assess trends and risk within organization to drive initiatives, policy improvements and overall culture.
• Collaborate with Associate Connect leaders, HR Business Partners and people leaders on associate relations, performance management and trends impacting area of support.
• Ensure policies, procedure and practices are adhered to in compliance with federal, state, and/or municipal laws.
• Stay abreast and support key business initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise on key HR processes and work steams (i.e. positive associate relations, compliance, compensation, store closings, etc.).
• Deliver Best-in-Class HR experience to associates using effective communication through high volume interactions face-to-face, by phone and through written channels.
• Support and execute HR and change initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.
