The position involves developing efficient and effective software using various programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The role requires enhancing and maintaining on-prem and internal PAAS applications, actively reworking these to AWS along project timelines, and helping to design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications. The candidate will build industry-standard APIs, establish, consume, and route calls, and design architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost. The role also emphasizes anticipating future consequences of technical choices, establishing a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, driving performance improvements, ensuring adherence to security standards, and engaging in Agile software development activities. The candidate will collaborate with team members, lead code reviews, create documentation, analyze tradeoffs, optimize pace, administer product upgrades, and provide support for production systems. Additionally, the role includes a 24/7 on-call support rotation.
