About The Position

Leidos is partnering with the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) MFLC Program to support to military service members and their families across the country and around the world. In support of this important mission, Leidos is hiring a Sr. Full Stack Developer (.Net/C#). In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable real-time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle, including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing. This position is REMOTE Candidates MUST be: U.S. Citizens and be able to show PROOF of U.S. Citizenship

Requirements

  • BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain
  • Must have experience with JavaScript, Vue, and .Net Ecosystem: C#, .Net Core, Razor, and object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira)
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and testing automation
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
  • Knowledge of modern software design architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter, a strong team player, and have the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Candidates MUST be: U.S. Citizens and be able to show PROOF of U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with configuring and deploying in AWS environments, including EC2s, ECS, and RDS
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience with Medallion Data Architecture design
  • Experience with Unit, functional, API, and Integration testing
  • Experience with containerization/orchestration

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with other team members to manage the software life cycle from concept to deployment
  • Maintaining and enhancing future iterations of software and testing based on agile requirements
  • Team collaboration in a Scrum managed environment
  • Testing framework development/implementation, automation implementation and results validation
  • Modification, testing, troubleshooting, and improvement of previously developed programs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
