About The Position

Requirements

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer creating prototypes or wireframes for enterprise web applications or workflows.
• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g., React.JS, AngularJS, Vue).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the future direction of a new AWS service.
• Meet with customers to understand their use cases and ensure alignment with Amazon's customer-centric approach.
• Manage and operate systems using continuous-integration-and-deployment tools.
• Participate in Weekly Operations Reviews to understand key product metrics.
• Gain experience in building and releasing features.
• Collaborate with your manager to create a career growth plan at AWS.
• Engage in all stages of the software development cycle, including planning and customer briefings.
• Design new systems to improve operational effectiveness and enhance existing systems.
• Onboard and guide new engineers during their initial weeks at AWS.
