About The Position

The Bird-Johnson Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial, Planning, and Analysis Analyst to support FP&A activities across the business and become a central member of this key process! The successful candidate will drive and coordinate forecasting consolidation, while performing analysis and dissecting results with a critical eye. The Sr. FP&A Analyst will synthesize to support BJPC leadership with portfolio decision making, along with Senior Leadership review preparation. This position operates in a fast-paced private equity environment as a business partner pacing the monthly forecasting process, budgeting activities, and five-year strategic plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; MBA preferred
• Minimum five years of financial experience
• Proficient in use of an ERP computer software package; Infor Visual experience strongly preferred
• Must have demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills
• Expertise in Excel, Powerpoint, and financial consolidation system such as Hyperion
• Must be a US citizen
• This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate

Responsibilities

• Supports P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting process, including the development and continuous improvement of analytic and forecasting methodologies
• Complete regular financial analysis, while being an active participant and influencer in business unit's strategic objectives
• In partnership with the Controller, develop and present financial performance to management
• Provide in-depth financial analysis to understand, explain, and provide recommendations on business drivers
• Analyze trends to pinpoint business performance and future projections
• Expected to assimilate with the organization's culture of teamwork, velocity, and integrity at the forefront
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
