About The Position

The position involves managing towing operations of the largest fleets to ensure prompt, efficient and courteous towing, recovery and emergency road service to all eligible customers, clients, AAA and affiliated Club members. The Sr. Fleet Manager will also have contractor oversight, lead 24/7 Fleet operations, and manage high call volume projections. This role may include oversight of smaller fleet locations and supervising daily activities of a large team of fleet supervisors, coordinators, drivers, and dispatchers to ensure timely task completion. The position aims to increase revenue by servicing existing clients and expanding the base of commercial towing accounts. Collaboration with contact center and field leaders is essential to accomplish club standards and goals. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety, security, and audit procedures, analyzing and resolving member complaints, investigating damage claims, monitoring equipment repair or replacement, and updating maintenance files to comply with regulations. Additionally, the Sr. Fleet Manager oversees recruitment, monitors incentive bonus programs, and generates administrative reports for process improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a related area.
  • One year or more of demonstrated successful supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong safety awareness and leadership skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong customer service qualities and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate technical/diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to data.
