About The Position

As a Senior Consultant, you will add your value and skillset to projects that seek to tackle clients most pressing business challenges. You will: own and deliver analyses and fleet reviews, guide clients in fleet planning and forecasting, contribute to the breakdown and synthesis of client business objectives, and offer your data driven solutions as input into broad business objectives, all while working reciprocally in a team setting. In addition to client and prospect work, Senior Consultants partake in guiding enhancements within Merchants technology offering as well as participate in independent or small group projects to develop new innovative ideas and offerings for Merchants.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience ideally in a fleet consulting or corporate strategy role
  • MBA or equivalent work experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Engaging key clients and prospects to promote fleet optimization to fit each client's unique objectives
  • Collaborating and leading partnerships with sales, marketing, product development, operations, client experience and information technology to define and execute Merchants Fleet Consulting's tool set, strategies and opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Shaping and guiding the strategic direction of clients through fleet planning, budgeting analysis, forecasting, and acquisition modeling and analysis
  • Conducting fleet business reviews and targeted fleet analysis with clients to drive value and solutions focused on lowering client cost and improve efficiencies
  • Value propositioning Merchants through competitive analysis in partnership with the sales team for internal and external growth
  • Developing and delivering financial modeling for CapEx and OpEx fleet expenditures for clients and prospects as well as modeling sale and leasebacks, re-amortizations, and refinancings
  • Effectively utilizing Merchants client portal, TotalView, in the day-to-day support of client needs and expanding utilization through prospect and client demonstrations & trainings
  • Creating and developing custom PowerBI visualizations, dashboards and reports for Clients and Internal usage as well as supporting TotalView data and reporting enhancements to support portfolio needs
  • Presenting solutions to client & prospect management and business leaders
  • Supporting work across the various business units and cross-Merchants initiatives
  • Independently managing and maintaining relationships with major customers and providers, including Client Advisory Board members
  • Managing special projects to completion
