Who we’re looking for Toyota Financial Services is looking for a responsible and passionate Senior Financial Systems Analyst. This role supports the TFS Finance organization in cultivating a best-in-class financial planning system and corresponding processes. Also, serves as a business administrator of Hyperion Planning applications and provides support to senior management, Finance team, and TFS Corporation. Additionally, the role is responsible for financial planning systems performance & maintenance, forecasting process enhancements, user training & communication, and ad hoc project work. This includes managing the metadata governance process and role-based security permissions. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Analyst will partner closely with FP&A, Data & Analytics (DnA), and Accounting to ensure that technology is effectively incorporated into TFS’ financial planning capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated progressive finance and business experience in a financial services company
  • Demonstrated experience with a comprehensive financial planning system including but not limited to: Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, SAP, or relative systems
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to leadership including executives
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for financial planning processes and systems. Responsibilities include handling Hyperion Planning system activities, managing metadata such as alternate hierarchy structures, overseeing the actual closing process, and coordinating forecast, annual, and long-range plan processes. Tasks also involve maintaining web forms, business rules, KPI calculations, and data reconciliations, as well as managing process communications and supporting end users.
  • Assess and develop impact analyses for business and configuration changes, including metadata management and quarterly security reviews for end users.
  • Contribute to application process improvements by gathering user feedback, planning business requirements sessions, developing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for major system enhancements, and collaborating with the Data & Analytics team to resolve performance issues.
  • Lead training sessions for new business users to help them understand system functionalities.
  • Provide project support for financial planning processes and systems. Assist the Financial Planning & Systems Lead in designing the next generation planning system, which includes conducting workshops with FP&A and Data & Analytics teams, compiling business requirements, and testing solutions in stage environments.
  • Represent FP&A team interests in projects managed by Accounting and Data & Analytics that affect downstream systems.
  • Provide ad hoc support to other team members in the Corporate Finance department, including assistance with routine deliverables such as data validation, forecast reporting packages, and monthly reports.
