About The Position

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the dealership network. The role will partner closely with operational leaders, department heads, and executive management to drive performance through data-driven insights, financial modeling, and advanced reporting. This is a high-visibility role that involves continuous process improvement in a dynamic, multi-location dealership environment.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of dealership operations, preferably in agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment sectors
  • Experience with business systems used in dealerships (e.g., JDQuote2, Equip, PFW/Integra, CDK) is highly preferred
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Targit, or Tableau
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support short- and long-term planning for all dealership locations
  • Analyze dealership performance by segment (e.g., Ag, Turf, Compact Construction, Parts, Service, Precision Ag)
  • Provide monthly financial analysis and executive-level commentary on performance drivers and variances
  • Support and lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes by location, department, and product category
  • Track and report on key dealership metrics including absorption rate, technician productivity, and gross margin by department
  • Assist with headcount and workforce planning across parts, service, and sales departments
  • Provide capital investment analysis (e.g., new locations, shop expansions, equipment purchases), including ROI tracking
  • Prepare and manage board and executive financial presentations
  • Analyze pricing strategy, margin trends, and sales performance by customer segment and geography
  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis, with a focus on inventory turnover and floorplan utilization
  • Collaborate with operational managers and store leaders to gather insights and validate financial assumptions
  • Improve operational KPI reporting and dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Targit, etc.)
  • Handle ad hoc financial analyses and special projects from the CFO and senior leadership

Benefits

  • $95,000-$125,000 plus a 20% target bonus.
