About The Position

The Sr. Financial Decision Support Analyst position at Texas Health Resources involves financial planning and budgeting within a collaborative and innovative environment. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree (Required)
• 3 years of Finance or accounting experience (Required)
• 1 year of healthcare Budgeting and/or Financial Planning experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Hospital Finance experience (Preferred)
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)
• Strong PC literacy with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with healthcare decision support systems such as EPSi, Strata, Kaufman Hall, or Oracle EPBCS.

Responsibilities

• Organize and support opportunity assessments for system-wide initiatives, including assessment, pro forma, and business case audits.
• Support and assist system-wide users of the Oracle EPBCS planning system related to operational and capital budgets.
• Provide professional communication between the THR Corporate finance team and various business units.
• Assist in the development of system-wide assumptions for the budget and multi-year planning cycle.
• Support corporate leadership and business units with analytic requests and report development.
• Assist with pro forma and business case development for business units.
• Support system-wide business units with ad hoc report requests related to Oracle EPBCS and EPSi.
• Assist in current year forecasting, including communication and development of corporate assumptions.
• Lead or assist in training efforts related to budgeting and forecasts for Oracle EPBCS users.
