About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst at Brightly Software is responsible for global R&D controlling and portfolio management of assigned Core SaaS product lines. This role involves acting as a financial counterpart to the Product Management and Tech Leaders, focusing on controlling and analysis of Cloud and Software License spend, while driving digitalization and automation of controlling processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) roles, preferably in a software business.
• Understanding of Cloud Business Models.
• Experience in Planning and Reporting, Financial Data Modeling, and automation.
• Experience with ERP Software, MS Office, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with FINOPS Dashboards and JIRA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as financial counterpart to Product Management and Tech Leaders of assigned Software Portfolios.
• Control, model, and analyze costs and topline of assigned product portfolios.
• Conduct business planning and ROI calculations for growth initiatives within assigned product lines.
• Perform financial modeling for new product and geographic introductions.
• Drive digitalization and automation of core controlling processes in the Portfolio Finance Team.
• Control team, cloud, and software spend including forecast modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate on the Cloud Operations FinOps Dashboard with the CLO team.
• Govern and act as a key stakeholder within the procurement process for software and cloud spend.
