The Finance & Accounting team located at the Uhrichsville, OH facility is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst. This role will report to the Operations Controller for the Uhrichsville plant. The Sr. Financial Analyst supports the plant’s financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role provides actionable insights to plant leadership, helping drive operational efficiency and critical initiatives. This candidate will work cross-functionally with both plant-based teams and corporate FP&A.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial planning, forecasting and analysis, preferably in manufacturing
  • Proficient in ERP systems (ie Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel; experience with consolidation tools (OneStream), Power BI or database systems/tools preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills in business performance measurements and financial modeling experience required.
  • Creative and innovative team player with a positive approach and a focus on business issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with plant leadership and regional office personnel.
  • Willingness to tackle additional projects and multi-task with changing priorities, as necessary.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the plant
  • Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead spending
  • Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and track critical metrics
  • Consolidating and summarizing the manufacturing unit data into plant-level reporting for the Controller and leadership team.
  • Acting as Financial Business Partner for Uhrichsville. This includes:
  • Build analytical models using both financial and non-financial data to forecast and analyze operating results. Clearly articulate these results back to management in order to make better business decisions.
  • Support Novelis Operating Systems and continuous improvement activities by participating in cross-functional business projects and gain a comprehensive knowledge of the operational cost drivers to better support project initiatives.
  • Attend department meetings to stay up-to-date on manufacturing activities and provide support to the teams.
  • Collaborate with Controllership counterpart to ensure consistency in financial reporting
  • Serve as backup for month-end close and inventory reporting as needed
