Job Posting Title: Sr Financial Analyst Location: Dallas - Shared Services Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Lead for all operational, financial, and compliance activities for Texas Medicaid supplemental programs (CHIRP, DSH, UC), including required reporting, data validation, cost reporting, budgeting, audit readiness, and collaboration with state agencies and internal leadership Financial planning and analysis related to profitability, pro formas and special projects using cost accounting system and EMR Assist with valuation from gross to net patient revenue Assist with projection/budget related to patient volume and patient revenue Support the Finance and Hospital Accounting team as determined by the Manager of Finance Required Skills/Abilities Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Require minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare Willingness to learn various systems & technical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint) Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently and oversee projects Preferred CPA eligible Preferred experience with the following systems/applications; Workday, Strata, and Epic Preferred experience related to Texas Medicaid supplemental programs Working Environment Working conditions: Inside Working Position: Sitting Physical Demands: Sedentary An Individual in this position will be required to list or carry weight in this group: Up to 10lbs Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Hearing, Seeing, Speaking An Individual in this position will be exposed to: Inside environment At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Require minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare
  • Willingness to learn various systems & technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently and oversee projects

Nice To Haves

  • CPA eligible
  • Preferred experience with the following systems/applications; Workday, Strata, and Epic
  • Preferred experience related to Texas Medicaid supplemental programs
