About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead analysis for the Print Business Unit, with a primary focus on Service Gross Margin profitability. This role leverages strong data evaluation and financial modeling skills to support strategic decision-making, analyze trends, and prepare clear, impactful management reporting. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior Financial Analyst drives business growth by improving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall profitability. The role also supports the development and evaluation of organizational KPIs, primarily related to service performance, while delivering high-quality financial insights and solutions to internal and external clients with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy and MS Office applications.
  • Strong internal and external customer service and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping other people.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain contract-level profitability models that track revenue, direct costs, and margin performance across the portfolio.
  • Drive insights into actionable recommendations and partner with Operations, Sales, and Procurement to implement cost and margin improvements
  • Perform detailed cost analysis at the item, vendor, and contract level to identify opportunities for savings and profitability improvement
  • Analyze contract economics (pricing structures, cost-to-serve, billing terms, escalation clauses) to identify margin erosion risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive benchmarks to recommend pricing adjustments and cost containment strategies.
  • Leverage advanced Excel and business intelligence tools to analyze large and complex datasets, build models, and deliver actionable insights
  • Perform post-mortem analyses to assess financial outcomes against original assumptions, determine success drivers, and develop replicable frameworks that can be applied to future opportunities.
  • Coordinate with accounting and business unit leadership to ensure all contract-related expenses are being billed and accounted for correctly.
  • Special Projects: Lead and participate in special projects related to financial reporting, process improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling.
