About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the full P&L for the Generous Brands beverage portfolio. This role serves as a key business partner to Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain, providing financial insights that drive performance and strategic decision-making. This position plays a critical role in monthly forecasting and reporting, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning, helping translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, scenario analysis)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience building and maintaining complex financial models
Solid understanding of financial and management accounting principles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related field

Experience supporting a CPG or manufacturing business
Experience partnering cross-functionally with commercial and operations teams
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning tools
MBA or CPA a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly close and actualization process, including detailed P&L variance analysis, insights, and issue identification
Own and support the monthly forecasting process, projecting and explaining financial performance on a rolling 18-month basis
Support the development of the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plans
Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and uncover growth or margin opportunities
Prepare clear, concise reporting packages and presentations for leadership
Develop financial models to support scenario planning, pricing analysis, and investment decisions
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to provide financial guidance on new initiatives, product launches, and promotional plans
Support evaluation and modeling of savings initiatives, including labor efficiencies, strategic sourcing, and operational improvements
Quantify ROI and financial impact of productivity and growth initiatives
Provide proactive insights to influence decision-making and drive accountability to targets
Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial processes
Enhance and maintain financial models and planning tools
Support integration with the company’s business planning calendar
Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
