About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst at Bath & Body Works plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the IT function, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management. This position requires collaboration with operational leaders to provide insights and identify risks and opportunities, while also supporting the development of presentation materials for executive leadership. The analyst will continuously seek operational improvements and perform ad hoc analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting.
  • MBA with focus in Finance and/or Accounting, preferred.
  • Financial accreditations and/or CPA, preferred.
  • Proven ability to think analytically and creatively while maintaining financial controls.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple, competing priorities.
  • Highly motivated and demonstrates independent initiative in performance against objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business, financial, and operations analysis to support senior management decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional finance teams, communicate accurate financial projections and provide the vital level of detail to explain variance analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision making across various departments.
  • Complete monthly reporting process and raise any known forecast risk and ops to cross functional partners.
  • Work with operating partners to manage in-season expense spending to ensure compliance with budgeted targets.
  • Adhere to deadlines within the internal projections cadence (end of month process, mid-month Risk/Opportunity updates).
  • Support internal allocation billing for total IT consumption.
  • Analyze trends and other business initiatives.
  • Find opportunities for continuous improvement in functional work, reporting and standard operating procedures.
  • Interface with CFO and other senior management.
