About The Position

Citi's Global Wealth Management helps the world's wealthiest individuals, families, and law firms protect and responsibly grow their wealth. We at Citi Global Wealth Management Technology enable them by developing the technology solutions to fuel this growth. The Senior Financial Analyst position is a traditional financial reporting position in the FP&A space. Monthly financial forecasting and budgeting, balance sheet impacts, client allocation, and variance analysis would be the focus for this role. The analyst will directly support senior management and senior finance teams for the communication of financial forecasts and outlook. The analyst would be part of a wider financial team supporting financial processes for Citi Global Wealth Management Technology.

Requirements

• 6-10 years experience in financial analysis and/or program management.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and associated automation of tasks.
• Analytical skills to interpret data, spotting anomalies, assessing risks in financial forecasts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Confidence to work with stakeholders across all levels of management and geographic locations.
• Experience of working on projects and delivering to assigned deadlines.
• Experience working with large volumes of data from disparate sources.
• Experience with collaborative tools like Microsoft SharePoint and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and deliver on various financial processes of the central finance team.
• Support Senior Leadership team on matters related to Financial Forecasts, Expense drivers, variances, balance sheet impacts, etc.
• Assist in driving and closing the monthly financials by coordinating between multiple regional teams and business managers.
• Create and refresh excel models to calculate financial outlooks.
• Do variance analysis after month-end actuals for multiple Lines of Business, compare financial forecasts to targets assigned, compare financial forecasts across multiple systems.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for assessing the impact of certain events on financial forecasts, such as foreign exchange currency changes and inflation.
• Assist in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Coordinate between business managers and technology program managers on financial forecasting across multiple Citi systems.
• Assist with budget creation and budget risk assessments.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements.
