About The Position

The Sr Financial Analyst, Marketing Finance & Analytics supports financial planning and examination for our Marketing team. This role is key in examining marketing activities to recommend financial strategies. Responsibilities include building relationships with managers and offering data-driven advice. Core tasks include budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. This is a highly data-driven role that supports marketing costs. It interacts with multiple executive business partners. You will also have a significant impact on Intuitive's marketing strategy and growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Possess exceptional critical skills and sound business acumen. Able to derive insights from large datasets. Proficient with dashboard creation and data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Skilled collaborator with lateral leadership, exceptional communication, and presentation skills. Adept at clearly explaining complex concepts to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency writing SQL queries preferred
  • Highly organized with ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data analytics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience involving examination, modeling, and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Execute budget, forecast, and month end close activities for marketing fixed costs
  • Generate in-depth, actionable analyses to drive measurable impact, such as optimizing marketing program ROI and prioritizing resource allocation
  • Examine complex business problems using data from internal and external sources
  • Coordinate the development and execution of marketing performance dashboards that enable our marketing managers to manage their business more effectively
  • Identify and implement streamlining of recurring processes, workflows and resources such as marketing program tracking and vendor contracting
  • Participate in cross functional teams, bringing data to diagnose and improve operational issues
  • Support internal goal setting and tracking
