About the Role: The Senior Finance Analyst II will join a fast-paced FP&A team as the finance business partner for the Chief Information Officer organization. You will provide the data and analyses for driving financial forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analyses to inform decision making by the CIO and, ultimately, CrowdStrike’s executive leadership team. Among other responsibilities, in this role you will have the unique opportunity to work with various teams and leaders across the organization, including Accounting, Financial Systems, Data Analytics, and Resiliency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in corporate/operations finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Clear understanding of GAAP accounting; SaaS experience a plus.
  • High aptitude and excellent analytical skills for complex problem solving and financial modeling.
  • Superior attention to detail – must display the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Complete proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, Coupa, Adaptive Insights Planning, and NetSuite a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Technology sector and/or high growth public company experience.
  • Knowledge of SaaS finance and accounting metrics
  • Experience using big data, such as extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasets.
  • Experience with SQL and/or BI/Visualizations tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the financial budgeting and forecasting cycle by partnering with business leaders across the CIO organization, including Operations, Security, GTM, Data & AI, and Shared Services.
  • Support month-end close activities including budget versus actuals, accruals, and reporting.
  • Work on special projects to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Develop meaningful analytics and reporting for various department leaders.
  • Lead annual AOP process for CIO, using a bottoms-up, zero-based budget approach for both operating expenses and headcount.
