As a Senior FP&A Analyst you serve as the finance business partner to the global R D department. You will be responsible for the budgeting, planning and forecasting processes. In this role, you will provide expertise on the R D P&L to anticipate challenges, recommend process improvements and drive better P&L profitability. You will develop or enhance monthly and ad hoc reporting to the Management team to enhance insights into product performance. You will assist in compiling financial models for product development and life cycle management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Expert Excel user.
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, Incorta and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Desire and ability to fully own assigned tasks/processes and drive resolution with minimal supervision.
  • A 'self-starter' mentality and proactive approach to propose and implement improvements.
  • A ‘hands on' work style, comfortable with the detail without losing the big picture.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle a demanding and fluctuating workload and at the same time provide accurate and reliable data.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail with a steadiness under pressure.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident, enthusiastic and a team player.
  • Must have strong results orientation and a sense of urgency, able to deal with uncertainties.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly close and monthly forecast for the R D & BULT's departments.
  • Monthly product line P&L, cassette utilization, backlog and core growth reporting.
  • Monthly & quarterly stats reporting.
  • Assist with financial impact assessment for all new product development financial models.
  • Assist with annual strategic planning process, Fortive 3-year plan.
  • Assist in preparation of the annual budget for R D and BULT's departments.
  • Grow product profitability reporting, improved visibility on KPIs for product profitability.
  • Complete quarterly competitor benchmark reporting and tax reporting.
  • Lead Incorta dashboard maintenance as needed.
  • FBS continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
