About The Position

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, drives a broad range of global corporate financial planning and analysis functions including Owens & Minor global consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning support, reporting, expense management and insightful financial analyses development and generation. The anticipated pay range for this role is as follows: up to $120k annually. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Requirements

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required in related fields (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.); MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience i(FP&A, Financial Reporting)
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, expertise in MS Excel required
  • Fluency with Hyperion, HFM and Essbase Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Stellar work ethic, attention to detail and demonstrate understanding of financial processes and systems
  • Must have proven corporate financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving through use of data and information metrics and improvement to performance process required.
  • Ability to present to & support Sr. Finance Director
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate financial concepts to non‐financial audiences, business partners / budget owners.
  • Strong ability and experience in performing multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as a team leader

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the definition and communication of the Corporate FP&A calendar and monthly reporting memo
  • Manages several areas for corporate expenses and their allocations to the Business Units. Will serve as business partner to the leader of each area communicating financial results.
  • Responsible for global consolidation for each Business Units and Regional areas
  • Assists preparation of financial presentations, including monthly management meetings, performance scorecards, initiatives trackers, and profitability models
  • Assists in long-range financial planning processes and drives associated financial modelling.
  • Works closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of the financial results for areas of responsibility
  • Performs additional duties and ad-hoc analysis as directed.
