About The Position

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC corporate office for a Senior Financial Analyst within the Commercial Finance department reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance. Primary Responsibilities Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions and improve financial performance. Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to deliver on business objectives. Preparation of financial models and ad hoc analysis to support leadership. Provide support for month end reporting, forecasting, & budget process. Maintain financial datasets, providing accurate profitability analysis for a business unit. Development and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demands. Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements. Play a key role in the preparation of the Quarterly Financial Operations Review. Participate in strategic financial projects. Responsible for business unit P&L variance analysis and explanations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge: Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial analysis
  • Flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive manner
  • Ability to work in exploratory spaces and help build solutions to new opportunities
  • Results driven individual with a track record to support
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills, organized, ability to multitask with careful attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 3+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporation
  • Experience leading/managing projects highly desired
  • Experience within a global manufacturing organization with multiple reporting units preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Previous SAP and/or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is a plus
