About The Position

Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brands, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. We are looking for a top analytical mind to develop a deep country understanding, create key performance indicators, provide guidance to optimize upcoming investments, and measure results of recent initiatives. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and have highly respected business acumen. This role partners directly with cross-functional leadership and multiple Advertising Finance teams, and requires strong communication and technical skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support to key Growth Sales initiatives and investments
  • Build, iterate, and automate financial reports, metrics, and scorecards to support short and long-term planning
  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of Financial performance for newly launched initiatives
