Take a peek into what makes us different here: https://youtu.be/AIt17t_uJ-A?si=oSMy5zQeUcb_faE3 Position Summary: The Sr Finance Partner is a strategic and highly skilled financial advisor who provides advanced financial analysis, planning support, forecasting, and strategic insight to business and operational leaders across the organization. Lead enterprise-level analysis of operational, commercial, strategic, and financial performance to surface trends, risks, and opportunities that inform executive decision-making and long-range planning. This position will also be responsible for consolidation of all financials. The Sr Finance Partner will be a key contributor to help the organization reach its strategic growth initiatives, including vertical and geographical expansion. The Sr Finance Partner may serve as a resource, coach, or informal lead to other Finance Partners on projects, processes, or financial tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field required.
  • 10 or more years’ experience in finance, accounting or related financial capacity required.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Capability to effectively align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Quick responsiveness and adaptation to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in all core competencies as described and characterized in this job description.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting corporate or enterprise level business operations preferred.
  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or professional services industry preferred.
  • Experience working with corporate financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting or business intelligence tools
  • Experience serving as a team leader, project leader, or information mentor within a finance or FP&A environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and management financial reporting.
  • Strengthen enterprise financial outcomes by ensuring disciplined, accurate, and timely reporting that informs senior level decision making.
  • Design, refine, and steward long range financial models that guide strategic planning and capital deployment across broader business areas.
  • Manage and track budget performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Evaluate and elevate financial reporting practices to enable sophisticated analysis, strategic prioritization, and informed resource allocation.
  • Develop and present forward looking financial projections and executive ready insights to business unit senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis. Serve as a strategic financial advisor and trusted thought partner to business unit senior leadership, providing advanced financial insight and strategic guidance.
  • Function as a senior level consultant to the business, advancing financial discipline, operational alignment, and long-term business performance.
  • Provide financial insight and influence a future-focused mentality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize financial strategies.
  • Partner with business units to identify financial opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and deliver sophisticated scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate strategic alternatives and guide high consequence business decisions. Identify and champion opportunities to adopt advanced financial technologies, analytical tools, and innovative practices, partnering with peers to support implementation.
  • Play a key role in the maturation and institutionalization of the FP&A function across the organization.
  • Advocate for and implement leading practices in FP&A methodologies, modeling approaches, reporting frameworks, and analytical capabilities. Demonstrate leadership presence within the Finance Partner team through expertise, judgment, and collaborative influence.
  • Serve as a resource and informal coach to peers, supporting knowledge sharing, development of analytical capability, and consistency in financial practices.
  • Model maturity, strategic thinking, and sound financial leadership in partnership with senior leaders and cross functional partners.
