About The Position

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Finance Manager (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to drive the decision support, planning, analytics and reporting for Visa's Operating Expenses. Support the full P&L and work closely with the Corporate Revenue FP&A team, External Reporting, Controllership, Treasury, and Investor Relations. Support in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and reviews of key financial metrics. Work on Visa's quarterly Board and Earnings materials. Provide analytical support for Visa's executive requested ad hoc analysis focused on expenses and overall P&L. Prepare insights and analytics related to financial considerations to potential business decisions. Participate in company-wide projects related to expenses and finance system improvements. Build and maintain relationships with finance business partners across the organization in support of Planning and Reporting processes. Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency; create and maintain job aid documentation for the end users to ensure continuity. Proactively contribute to new reporting development and improve quality and presentation of existing reporting. Expand scope overtime to support various corporate analysis including but not limited to assisting in corporate expense targets, multi-year strategy planning, executive ad-hoc expense analysis, participating in company-wide projects related to expense and finance system improvement. Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a finance-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or closely related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a finance-related occupation.
  • Financial analysis and reporting in Excel, using VLookups, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, IndexMatch, and Macro/visual basic.
  • Experience using Tableau, PowerBI or similar business intelligence tool for data visualization.
  • Experience with reporting systems, such as Hyperion or Essbase.
  • Financial forecasting and modeling, P&L analysis, monthly/quarterly analytics, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning.
  • Perform variance analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis, consolidation and reporting of P&L.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and present conclusions to management.
  • Evaluate P&L impact of business initiatives, including new projects and market expansion.
