The Marketing Creative team at Aurora is looking for a multi-talented Sr. Filmmaker with a sharp eye for visual storytelling, a mastery of the edit bay, and a passion for cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will be the engine behind our video content, working with a team of dedicated filmmakers, designers, and creative directors to bring material shot in the field to life in the edit. While your primary focus will be editing, motion graphics, and finishing , you will also step behind the camera to shoot interviews, b-roll, and product demos. You are a filmmaker at heart—someone who loves crafting the narrative in post-production but has the technical skills to arrive on set and shoot for the edit. In this role you will Post-Production (70%) Edit & Craft: Take ownership of video projects from ingest to final export. You will cut promotional spots, case studies, product explainers, and social media assets. Motion Graphics: Create engaging 2D motion graphics, lower thirds, and title cards to elevate production value and explain complex technical concepts. Finishing: Handle color correction and sound mixing to ensure all deliverables meet Aurora’s high brand standards. Asset Management: Organize and maintain our growing video library, ensuring projects are archived correctly and footage is easily retrievable. Production (30%) Shoot: Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for studio shoots, on-site interviews, and documentary-style b-roll. Direct: Guide subjects to get the best performance and sound bites. Plan: Collaborate with the creative team to create treatments, storyboards, shotlists, and schedules to ensure we capture exactly what is needed for the edit. Who You Are A Storyteller: You understand pacing, rhythm, and narrative structure. You know how to take 60 minutes of raw footage and turn it into a compelling 60-second story. A Technical Expert: You know your codecs, frame rates, and export settings inside and out. A Self-Starter: You are comfortable working autonomously on an edit but thrive in a collaborative creative environment. Adaptable: You can switch gears quickly between a polished case study video and a fast-paced social media cut.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, with a specific emphasis on editing and post-production (agency or in-house tech experience is a plus).
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects .
  • Proficiency in color grading (Premiere or DaVinci Resolve) and audio mixing.
  • Demonstrated experience operating professional cameras (e.g., RED, Sony FX series) and standard lighting/audio setups.
  • A strong portfolio/reel demonstrating a range of editing styles and motion graphics abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3D animation (Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D or Blender).
  • Experience with still photography.
  • Experience working in the technology or automotive sectors.
