About The Position

The Senior Field Training Manager will be part of a distinct, field-based training team. This team is responsible for training & support for hourly and managerial associates on company processes and standards. They will provide on-the-ground support and play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of new location openings. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for employee development.

Requirements

  • The Senior Field Training Manager must have a project management or training background, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results within tight timelines.
  • In addition, they possess a highly developed sense of leadership.
  • They will consistently develop guest service and interpersonal skills, including high integrity, respect for all individuals, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and an appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnicity, gender, etc.).
  • Must be a strong team player, developer, and possess strong presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the assigned duties.
  • Five years in training, managing, and facilitating associate development programs and project management.
  • Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the execution of project milestones, timelines, and budgets while identifying and resolving any potential roadblocks.
  • Be the on-site contact and oversee projects when their supervisor is not able to be present.
  • Collaborate and facilitate training of management teams and their staff, including on-the-job training, for a successful grand opening and ongoing operations.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments; coordinate people and processes to ensure our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
  • Work closely with IT partners to ensure that all relevant systems are functional, operational, and on schedule before the location opens.
  • Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops where needed.
  • Provide feedback to employees and managers to support their development.
  • Supervise Field Training Captains during the implementation of training and ensure that they deliver consistent results and champion the culture of the Bowlero Corp brand(s) and the company standards.
  • Special projects and ongoing operational support to locations as assigned.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays to support business needs.
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for all operational company processes.
  • Plan, design, implement, and follow up on all projects assigned by a supervisor.
  • Perform postmortem reports upon completion of each project; evaluate the success of each project and determine best practices.
  • Complete administrative duties as needed and in accordance with deadlines.
