As a Sr. Field Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced technical support and services for our Building Automation systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various building control systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you’ll support Letterkenny Army Depot onsite in Chambersburg, PA. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our Building Automation systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations and enhancing the customer experience.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Building Automation systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on service projects and performance enhancement.
  • Monitor the Niagara supervisor during first shift.
  • Oversee system functions and data-collection procedures for measurement and verification reports.
  • Support special projects, assisting customer with standardization for system integration and compliance.
  • Maintain UMCS Standardization and compliance directives.
  • Troubleshoot connection and communication issues as they arise.
  • Update graphics to uphold standardization.
  • Other tasks as required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in field service or technical support roles related to Building Automation systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building management systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex technical issues.
  • Experience with various tools and technologies related to building automation, including software applications and control systems.
  • Valid REAL ID and ability to complete Federal background checks and attain Secret clearances.
  • Technical degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a technical environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation.
  • Experience with Niagara N4 systems.
