About The Position

The Sr. Field Sales Representative – DHT is responsible for professionally representing Ulterra in the field, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting revenue growth and market share expansion. This position is on-call 24/7 and requires the ability to build lasting relationships, capture critical performance data, and identify new business opportunities. The Sr. Field Sales Representative - DHT acts as the primary interface between Ulterra and its customers at the wellsite, supporting internal teams with accurate, real-time feedback and insights. Customer Support & Territory Management: Maintain consistent, professional engagement with all rigs in the assigned area. Serve as a key relationship builder for both new and existing customers. Provide responsive support to operators and drilling personnel, ensuring optimal product performance. Field Operations & Reporting: Adhere to all safety protocols and dress code policies, including grooming standards. Maintain 100% inventory accountability using all established documentation and processes. Submit high-quality, timely reports including daily field updates, expenses, vehicle inspections, and revenue flashes. Ensure company vehicle is clean, maintained, and safely operated at all times. Market Intelligence & Communication: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the local drilling market, including rig activity, customer dynamics, performance trends, and competitive positioning. Maintain daily open communication with Sales Supervisors, Application Engineers, Account Representatives, and District Managers. Support internal decision-making by conveying customer feedback, performance metrics, and potential growth opportunities. Product Knowledge & Coaching: Continuously learn and refine understanding of Ulterra’s product offerings and drilling applications. Share knowledge with teammates and support onboarding and training of less experienced personnel. Additional Responsibilities: Assist with special projects or initiatives as required. Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Intermediate reading, writing, and computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with modern mobile applications and social platforms.
  • Highly organized, with effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to receive and follow instructions, with a collaborative and coachable mindset.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude with strong team orientation.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires both near and far visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Regular exposure to field environments with varying conditions.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in field sales or related oilfield experience.
  • Must have a state-issued driver’s license and be eligible to drive a Company vehicle, including ability to meet requirements of Company's Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
