About The Position
The Sr Field Property Risk Engineering Consultant position is a full-time remote role that requires the candidate to reside in either Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, or Washington D.C. This role is pivotal in performing comprehensive property and natural hazard risk assessments, as well as providing risk improvement services to clients. The consultant will be responsible for conducting plan reviews and supporting change management processes to ensure that risk portfolios are managed effectively. The position also involves developing and implementing customer service strategies aimed at reducing losses and enhancing customer operations. In addition to these responsibilities, the consultant will provide engineering support to the underwriting team by participating in client broker meetings. Monitoring the delivery of property account engineering services is crucial to ensure that they are executed properly, on time, and within budget. The consultant will also offer advanced property consultative services, which include identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigating the causes and effects of major losses, and developing property management programs. Furthermore, the consultant will assist in marketing risk transfer insurance products in collaboration with underwriting professionals and agents across various business segments.
