As a Field Applications Scientist at Syncell, you will play a pivotal role in introducing and supporting new enabling technology in the spatial biology and proteomics space. This field sales-based position is primarily responsible for providing pre and post-sales training and support for the Syncell Microscoop Platform and its consumables. You will serve as the crucial interface between the sales team and applications, helping customers understand the fundamentals and potential of our technology to address their scientific inquiries. We are seeking an individual who is not only curious but also passionate about inspiring prospective customers to explore our innovative solutions. In this role, you will develop expert-level knowledge of Syncell's Microscoop technology, which includes sample preparation techniques, instrumentation, software, network communications, and the full integration of the overall platform. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of preparing tissue samples with Syncell's reagents and chemistry, understanding how these factors impact the performance of the platform. Your responsibilities will include onboarding, training, and supporting new customers to ensure that protocols are understood and followed correctly. Collaboration with your field sales counterpart will be essential to achieve revenue targets, and you will help develop territory sales and business development plans, identifying key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other potential customers. You will support customers in their data workflow to ensure high-quality results are generated efficiently across a broad range of applications. Providing technical guidance on experimental design for single-cell spatial analysis will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will document customer issues, investigate underlying causes, and work closely with the Syncell support and R&D teams to implement effective solutions. Your collaboration with the sales team will be vital in identifying new customer and market opportunities, and you will collect feedback from current customers to communicate to product teams and management, guiding product development. Throughout the sales process, you will act as a consultant, conveying appropriate product and performance expectations to customers while guiding the sales process toward success. You will also work collaboratively with other applications colleagues to support customer training and post-sales support, delivering effective product and application presentations, workshops, and seminars.
