The Senior Federal Subcontracts Representative is responsible for moderately complex to complex federal subcontract development and/or administration in support of proposal and/or project requirements within the Federal Subcontracts Group.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Four (4) years of relevant federal industry experience preferred or proven ability to perform at the capacity identified herein.

Responsibilities

  • Assigned moderately complex to compelx federal subcontract
  • Files appropriate contractual documents and follows filing rules
  • Proficient in the basic functions of the applicable software
  • Trains others concerning the federal subcontract processes
  • Provides input to portions of new and / or revised procedures or documents
  • Responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for federal subcontracts to support estimating / proposal effors for major project(s)
  • May lead and coordinate the entire budgetary pricing effort on a major project(s)
  • Prepares federal subcontract documents and bidders lsits
  • Prepares, issues, and manages the bidding processLeads and manages the bid evaluation process through the distribution of federal proposals, preparation of the commercial portion of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with the technical team regarding the technical evaluation.
  • Leads, schedules, and coordinates, and manages the negotiation process
  • Able to resolve complex commercial terms and conditions exceptions
  • Manages subcontracting documents
  • Ensures federal subcontractor compliance with prequalification requirements (safety, financial, quality, etc.)
  • Understand federal contracts and may be responsible for incorporation of appropriate scope-specific flowdowns into subcontracts under oversight
  • Subcontractor compliance with prequalification requirements
  • Run kick off and meetings; draft / issue meeting minutes for assigned federal subcontracts
  • Draft / log formal correspondence for assigned federal subcontracts
  • Perform change management duties for assigned federal subcontracts
  • Review and process invoices for assigned federal subcontracts
  • Closeout assigned subcontracts
  • Participates in the resolution of claims and liquidated damages
