As a CBRE Senior Facilities Manager, you will lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance across a campus of medium to large-sized buildings and garages. This role is part of the Facilities Management function, which focuses on the full spectrum of asset and building operations. You'll support Facilities Managers and Chief Engineers in delivering workplace experience services—including repairs, maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, and more—ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional service delivery.

  • Support a team of Facilities Managers, Assistant Managers, and Chief Engineers, ensuring strong leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the on-site client representative, driving timely and accurate communication.
  • Oversee both hard and soft services, resolving complex operational issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Budget management responsibilities include developing and managing annual and quarterly forecasts, capital expenditures, accruals, and variance reports across multiple regions, while maintaining financial accuracy and standardization.
  • Strategic planning for workplace services, facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, while fostering strong client relationships and resolving high-level issues.
  • Manage vendor and contractor negotiations, support environmental health and safety initiatives, and collaborate with departments such as Space & Occupancy, Energy & Sustainability, and Procurement to align operations and budgets.
  • Develop SOPs, lead advanced training, and ensure compliance with CBRE systems, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
  • Model CBRE RISE values and proactively mitigate risks, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence across all facilities under your purview.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior management experience is required.
  • Experience in staffing, training, performance management, and employee development.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for conveying expectations, handling sensitive issues, and managing client relationships.
  • Experience in financial oversight, building engineering, workplace services, and managing corporate headquarters with executive presence is required.
  • Proven leadership skills to drive operational goals across multiple disciplines are essential.
  • A solid understanding of core building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and structural components is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intermediate math skills for financial calculations are expected.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices, energy management, and digital facility tools such as CMMS or CAFM is preferred.
