About The Position

The Sr. Equipment Finance/Remarketing Portfolio Asset Manager at Regions Bank is responsible for appraising commercial equipment, negotiating end-of-lease transactions, and managing an equipment finance portfolio. This role involves working within the bank's objectives and policies to support its Equipment Finance models and align with overall bank strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and seven (7) years' experience in banking/finance/leasing or asset management experience.
• A High School Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years' experience in banking/finance/leasing or asset management experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

• Master of Business Administration
• American Society of Appraisers (ASA) affiliation and/or designation

Responsibilities

• Researches various equipment types to project present and future equipment values for providing residual pricing.
• Understands components of equipment leasing to ensure prudent equipment covenants are incorporated into lease/loan documentation.
• Monitors equipment markets for technology changes, market influences, and regulatory changes affecting leased equipment value.
• Performs and coordinates portfolio and administration activities as required by policy.
• Works with customers, internal partners, and third parties to maximize gain and mitigate loss in equipment dispositions.
• Performs equipment inspections and arranges third-party inspections and appraisals as needed.
• May spearhead special projects assigned by the department manager.
• May provide guidance or support to less experienced associates.
