About The Position

As Senior Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our team globally in data center delivery. This includes working cross functionally with partners in development, design & construction, and operations, as well as with external stakeholders to develop and implement processes that support Environmental excellence in all Yondr activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in managing environment in industry, ideally with data center experience
  • Degree qualification in an Environmental or Sustainability related subject or member of a recognized professional body
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation, how it applies to the operations of the business and how to maintain compliance with it
  • 5+ years in management of personnel or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Environmental Compliance for activities in line with all applicable local, national, and international environmental laws and regulations and permit conditions across operations and Yondr Requirements
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and management of Site Environmental Manager(s)
  • Support the development of global HSE expectations for construction and operations and partner with our supply chain to ensure those expectations are met
  • Support Yondr HSE Directors for Client Stakeholder Management, reporting, consistency, tender evaluation, procurement, and maintaining professional relationships with the supply chain.
  • Work with Yondr’s Continuous Improvement Team to drive improvement in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001Provide leadership on all Classification: Internal aspects of Environmental Management across the globe Deliver assurance and reporting to regional leadership to drive transparency
  • Working closely with Regional HSE Operations Manager to ensure timely and safe transition during mobilization.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to drive alignment across global and regional operations.
  • Contribute to and/or support other departments to achieve endorsed business objectives
  • Lead the Energy Management System in operations
  • Work as Zero Waste Leader in driving the zero waste program and its implementation in collaboration with site teams and supply chain
  • Have oversight on the company’s zero waste strategy and be responsible for the collation of data and presentation of initiatives and reports to upper management and across sites
  • Provide internal training for zero waste and energy management
