Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including Clean Water, Waste, Air Quality, Pollution Control, and other applicable standards. Conduct environmental inspections (e.g., NESHAP FF, generator hours, opacity, Leak Detection and Repair [LDAR]) and perform environmental sampling. Plan, oversee, and review source testing for plant emission units. Support key environmental programs, including hazardous waste management, stormwater, and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC). Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and maintain online compliance databases. Collect, track, and analyze environmental data to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and coordinate ongoing permit renewal processes. Collaborate with the legal team on permit documentation and compliance matters. Oversee the site’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, including energy use, production, and air emissions. Lead meetings, produce agendas and minutes, and manage communications with the Southwest Clean Air Agency (SWCAA) regarding permits. Implement and manage construction, NSPR, and BACT permits. Develop and maintain air-related programs, forecast regulatory changes, and provide training to management and operations teams. Execute environmental programs, follow established guidelines, and independently resolve issues when necessary.
