About The Position

The position involves managing environmental compliance related tasks, programs, and plans. The individual will inspect facilities based on requirements, track the date of audits, and follow up on corrective actions. They will be responsible for maintaining the Intellex Program and producing monthly updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in environmental compliance.
• Knowledge of 40CFR, Wastewater license, and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental compliance, including permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure adherence to licensing requirements.
• Identify compliance issues and develop corrective action plans, acting as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality, and work issues.
• Conduct compliance inspections to determine the nature of code violations and actions to be taken, and develop corrective courses of action.
• Update the Intellex Program as necessary.
• Provide technical support to internal customers related to environmental projects, processes, audits, and compliance.
• Deliver compliance training to internal customers and offer guidance and support to improve competency and commitment.
• Ensure policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance programs are followed.
