About The Position

As a Sr. Enterprise Data Architect, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day. Requirements

  • 10+ combined years of architecture, engineering, and leadership experience with data management, data warehousing, cloud technologies, and business solutions that include them.
  • Thorough understanding of all the functions of a corporate IT data services organization, such as data governance, master data management, data engineering, data warehousing, data security, compliance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience managing and building solutions with at least one major data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Informatica.
  • Strong conceptual, physical, and logical data modeling skills.
  • Solid understanding of technical topics such as database management, cloud-based architectures, information security, DevOps and MLOps.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and generative AI algorithms, and natural language processing.
  • Strong SQL skills and software engineering experience with Java, C#, Python, SQL, or R.
  • Strategic and tactical planning.
  • Written, graphic, and oral communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team leadership.
  • Group facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and document their goals, challenges, systems, and capabilities.
  • Guide business and technical teams in solving problems and delivering solutions.
  • Guide the evolution of our data platform and build our delivery capabilities.
  • Work with stakeholders to create target architectures and roadmaps for data platforms and business solutions.
  • Develop an overall data capability and technology roadmap, gain support from business and technology stakeholders, and guide its implementation and evolution.
  • Expand our use of AI for accelerated solution delivery and enhanced business intelligence
  • Develop and publish models, catalogs, schemas, glossaries, roadmaps, online collaborative environments, knowledge repositories, and other artifacts.
  • Guide data-centric enterprise projects and other major efforts.
  • Lead tool and framework selection and develop or guide proofs of concept.
  • Engage closely with engineering, analytics, and data science teams to identify challenges, receive feedback, and promote the adoption of standards and best practices.
  • Review designs, quality plans, and test results to ensure that solutions meet requirements while aligning with our business and technology strategies.
  • Participate in our company-wide enterprise architecture practice. Present architecture reviews and contribute to collaboration sessions and enterprise guidance.
  • Be a hands-on architect for a small team. Write production code and effectively use a variety of data tools.
