Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• 1+ year of relevant experience in an engineering/laboratory support role
• Fundamental proficiency with electronic tools, test equipment, and fabrication
• Solder repair certification and/or FCC First Class License (may be required)
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, diagnostics, and calibration
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
• On-site work required

Responsibilities

• Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic/electro-mechanical assemblies and systems
• Calibrate, align, and maintain test equipment and components
• Construct and adjust tools, fixtures, and experimental setups per schematics and instructions
• Perform diagnostics, data collection, and analysis to support process improvements
• Assist with experiments, including setup and documentation under senior technician guidance
• Prepare chemical compounds and solutions as needed for lab use
• Implement practical solutions for hardware or process challenges
• Support the development and adjustment of laser/light transmission devices or circuitry
