Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in cleanrooms or high tech manufacturing environments.
  • Strong ability to document processes and track details, and communicate nuances.
  • Proficiency in operating manual, semi-automated, and automated tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in basic statistics and data analysis (SPC and control charts).

Nice To Haves

  • An Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school highly preferred.
  • Experience running and analyzing data from Atomic Force Microscope, ellipsometer, or similar materials characterization metrology systems.
  • Experience running in a nanofabrication and cleanroom environment.
  • Yield Enhancement project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the qualification of new precision manufacturing equipment by completing measurements, running experiments, repeatability, and tool matching studies with the guidance of Process Engineering.
  • Hands-on contributor capable of assisting engineers through various stages of design, development, and technology maturity by performing test and metrology measurements (primarily AFM but additional equipment such as ellipsometer, vision systems, and other critical dimension characterization equipment).
  • Operate and train others on new and existing equipment, including generating SOP documentation, following all safety procedures.
  • Document and report results from experimental and process development work.
  • Assist engineers to improve the quality and capability of new processes based on outcomes of DOE.
  • Support the cross functional team by participating in RCA, 8D, and PFMEA processes.
