About The Position

AVL Test Systems Inc is seeking a Sr. Engineering Specialist to provide technical engineering and customer liaison support services. This role involves product, system, and software installation, commissioning, configuration, and calibration troubleshooting for chassis dynamometer testing systems in multi-configuration test cells. The specialist will utilize control and acquisition software for chassis dynamometer instrumentation, perform chassis dynamometer calibration, troubleshoot test and measurement products and systems, develop troubleshooting guides, create commissioning documents, and provide training on systems. The position is located in Plymouth, MI, and requires 75% travel to client locations throughout the U.S. Work may be required at various unanticipated client locations across the U.S. AVL North America has a staff of more than 550 people and operates four technical centers in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Metro Detroit area, and Lake Forest, California. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5 years of experience in the job duties as stated
