Nextracker is a global leader in smart solar tracking systems and energy solutions that optimize power generation for utility-scale solar projects. Our mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to renewable energy. We are seeking an Sr. Engineering Program Manager to support the development and deployment of Electrical Balance of System (EBOS) components that are critical to our solar power solutions. As an Sr. Engineering Program Manager for EBOS, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical components such as combiners, disconnects, wiring harnesses, and protection systems. You will work closely with engineering, product management, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure that EBOS products meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

  • Manage the planning and execution of EBOS product development programs from concept through production release.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, product managers, and suppliers to define requirements and technical specifications.
  • Track program schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Facilitate design reviews, testing, and validation activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical performance, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support cross-functional communication and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program management processes and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in engineering program or project management, preferably in the renewable energy or power electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with EBOS components and their role in grid-connected solar systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Knowledge of UL, NEC, and other relevant electrical standards is a plus.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.
  • Exposure to utility-scale solar or energy storage systems.
  • Understanding of product development processes for electrical hardware.
