This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week on Wednesdays & Thursdays. Life New Business is seeking a highly motivated, full-stack software engineer to join the exciting Life Underwriting & Case Management space as part of a Platform Team. This role will work on development for a variety of technology solutions supporting the Underwriting Journey including co-development of The Policy Processor (TPP), complex vendor integrations, and supporting microservices. This role will actively develop with a Build It/Run It Mindset. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
