Requirements

  • 5+ years of hand-on experience in IT engineering, software development, systems administration or automation.
  • Proven experience with scripting or app development languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C++, HTML, JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reusable code modules, scripts, and APIs to support operational efficiency.
  • Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in application and automation development.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automation into development workflows.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable Ecommerce solutions in BigCommerce.
  • Customize sites, UX/UI (desktop and mobile) and checkout flows using BigCommerce tools, HTML/CSS/JS and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, webhooks and Third-party integrations to enhance platform functionality
  • Coordinate with BigCommerce support and vendors to resolve platform-specific issues.
  • Oversee Power Platform tenant architecture, including Power Apps and Power Automate environments, settings, and data policies.
  • Design and manage pipelines for app deployment and automation workflows.
  • Enforce governance standards to ensure scalability, security, and efficient resource usage.
  • Administer Azure DevOps tenant architecture, including organization settings, project structures, and permissions.
  • Support development teams with project setup, pipeline configuration, and integration best practices.
  • Maintain governance frameworks to align DevOps practices with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
