About The Position

This position will serve as a subject matter expert to administer and maintain security of monitoring systems including SolarWinds, SCOM (System Center Operations Manager). The role involves leading engineering and administrative work associated with Enterprise Monitoring tools and capability, maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, and collaborating with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. The position also directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives. Responsibilities include identifying and directing the implementation of process improvements, providing subject matter expertise to team members and stakeholders, and configuring, installing, maintaining, and performing upgrades to server applications and hardware.

Requirements

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Information Technology.
  • 5 - 7+ Years experience in IT infrastructure administration with SolarWinds and SCOM.

  • Certification in SolarWinds.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
  • Provide direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance system capability.
  • Configure, install, maintain and perform upgrades to server applications and hardware.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
  • Provide direction and guidance for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment.
