About The Position

THE ROLE Entegris is currently seeking a Sr. Engineer, Chemical Process Engineer to join our New Production Development team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX. facility. In this role, you will be a key player on the dynamic New Product Development (NPD) team to oversee multiple projects driving profitable growth in the company’s blended chemistry team. Projects will vary depending on size and scope, requiring flexibility and tailored solutions. This role will include direct interaction with a broad range of global senior, technical and functional management, and subject matter experts throughout the organization. The position’s primary objective will be to support process development and scale up wafer cleaning chemicals used by our customers to build high performance semiconductor products. WHAT YOU’LL DO Develop LVM and HVM blended chemical processes in a safety-first culture through collaboration with product management, R&D, manufacturing and critical customer requirements Design delivery, blend and purification systems Optimize chemical purity, yield and cycle time on new processes using statistical best practices (DFSS/DFM) Collaborate with manufacturing to establish reliable high quality and cost targets. Have ability and willingness to take a “hands-on” approach to meeting project scope and timing including assisting project team members in completion of deliverables as needed Own product portfolio documentation creation WHAT WE SEEK A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar technical field or related experience is required; a Master’s degree is a plus WHY WORK AT ENTEGRIS? Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar technical field or related experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization serving a high technology industry
  • Understanding of purification/filtration processes and critical control parameters
  • Ability to generate FMEAs, Control Plans
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical software (Minitab/JMP)
  • Familiar with SAP Enterprise software
  • Medium to high volume manufacturing experience
  • Experience leading project(s) pertaining to continuous improvement of yield, cycle time and cost reduction involving purification
  • A fundamental knowledge of chemistry (material stability, material compatibility, etc.) and thermodynamics (mass flow, etc.).
