About The Position

As a Sr Engineer, Analytics you will help increase business intelligence and analytics plans at Westinghouse. You will oversee report development, application configuration, patch management, and support, alongside managing updates and security within the Westinghouse Power BI environment. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the design and implementation of comprehensive data processes, including Extract, Transform, Load workflows, to uphold data integrity and accuracy across all analytics projects. You will report to the BI Analytics Manager and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This is a remote role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or other related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Power BI on‑premise Data Gateway, including configuration and support.
  • Experience with data management, database administration and system integration using common data interfaces and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Power BI Center of Excellence (CoE) standards for report development, including requirements gathering, development, testing, training, and support for citizen developers.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team, end-users, IT, and other tasks to gather requirements and provide support. Additionally, follow the Westinghouse Power BI CoE governance model, Westinghouse cybersecurity policies, and other Westinghouse standards.
  • Intake, analyze, configure, test and implement datasources across multiple systems according to the Westinghouse Power BI CoE governance model, Westinghouse cybersecurity policies and other Westinghouse standards.
  • Provision user and group access within the Power BI Cloud Service.
  • Maintain documentation for all reports, including workspace details, contact names, source code, modification dates, and meeting minutes.
  • Complete support activities to achieve Service level agreement targets of customer satisfaction and cycle time.
