About The Position

The Process Engineer supports the mill operations teams by providing process engineering and technical services. These services include data collecting, data analysis, reporting, software system administration, field trouble shooting, procedure writing, operations management systems development, lab test procedure development, capital project justification, safety leadership and quality management. This role is expected to lead continuous improvement projects, mill initiatives and other tasks needed to improve mill operations. This role works closely with the Technical and Environmental Manager on various projects needed throughout the mill.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of relative work experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred degree in Engineering)
• Strong in data analysis and data analysis tools such as Pi, Excel and Six Sigma concepts
• Strong in critical thinking and able to think outside the box for non-traditional solutions to production issues
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and findings through written reports and emails
