About The Position

The Sr Electro-Mechanical Maintenance position involves performing preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures, conducting visual inspections, checking fluid levels, lubricating and cleaning parts, tightening and adjusting components, replacing parts, and calibrating sensors and gauges. The role also includes visually inspecting and performing complex tests on equipment, listening for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions, dismantling and inspecting defective parts, and conducting thorough inspections to identify underlying issues. Additionally, the position requires performing complex layouts, assemblies, installations, and maintenance of pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, as well as installing and repairing complex electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring. The role also involves maintaining and repairing the physical structure of the establishment, installing complex machinery, platforms, and guards, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent).
• 4 or more years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Conducts visual inspections, checks fluid levels, lubricates, and cleans parts.
• Tightens and adjusts components, replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges.
• Visually inspects and performs complex tests on equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems.
• Dismantles, inspects, and replaces defective parts.
• Conducts thorough inspections to identify underlying issues and troubleshoots complex problems.
• Performs complex layouts, assemblies, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Installs and repairs complex electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring.
• Maintains and repairs the physical structure of the establishment.
• Installs complex machinery, platforms, guards.
• Mentors junior technicians.
• Promotes, complies, and ensures operations and company safety procedures and practices are followed by less senior colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
